THE EMBERVILLE FIELD GUIDE

Emberville Life Skills & Professions

The initial scope names gathering, crafting, farming and cooking. Historical profession descriptions explain their intended roles without establishing every launch rule.

A life between adventures

The current Steam Early Access description explicitly includes gathering, crafting, farming, cooking and base building. The older development journal names more specific professions. The overview below distinguishes the current activity list from that historical profession plan.

  • Gathering supplies the material side of preparation; follow resources for the collection categories.
  • Crafting turns materials and learned recipes into useful outputs; follow crafting for equipment, supplies and building purposes.
  • Farming places growing activities alongside your home; follow the estate for the personal space.
  • Town restoration connects those activities with the people you rescue; follow town rebuilding for that community role.

Gathering and material skills

The historical journal divides collection into mining, woodcutting, herbalism and fishing. These names describe the gathering side of life skills. For the material categories actually named by the sources, use resources; this page does not turn the historical profession list into a current tool or unlock menu.

Crafting professions and their purposes

Production professions are grouped by the things they make in the historical journal. The table preserves that source context. Crafting explains the currently described output categories and the role of recipes and blueprints.

Farming and your estate

Farming is included in the announced initial scope. The developer’s creative-area description also places growing crops beside home building, decorating and crafting. Official screenshots illustrate planted plots and a personal building area. Crop names, growing times, seasons and seed prices need their own evidence; a visible plot does not provide those numbers.

Cooking for the next journey

Cooking is named in the initial scope. The historical journal gives food and beverages a preparation role through temporary stat bonuses, without establishing current effect values. Follow crafting for the connection between growing ingredients and making supplies.

What has been said about fishing?

Fishing appears in the historical developer journal and fact-sheet coverage of life skills. The current initial-scope bullet list does not individually enumerate every gathering activity. This distinction matters: a historical fishing description is not a complete launch fish list. We do not yet publish bait requirements, catch schedules, sale values or a fishing walkthrough from unverified footage.

Skills with a place in the world

Residents and rebuilding give production a context. The current description links villagers with teachings and new mechanics, while the estate offers a personal workshop. Read town rebuilding for the community side and the estate for the personal space. Those pages separate the systems without pretending to know an exact order for every unlock.
